This guilt free chocolate fudge cake is so delectable yet minimum fuss with everything going in the kitchen whizz!

Black Bean Chocolate Fudge Cake

Gluten, dairy, refined sugar free.

  • Kitchen whizz.


  • 1 ripe banana
  • ½ cup almond butter
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tbsp rice flour
  • 1 tbsp coconut flour
  • 1 can black beans rinsed
  • ½ cup chopped dark chocolate optional
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp olive oil


  • Preheat oven to 160°C fanbake
  • Add all of the ingredients except the chocolate to a food processor and blitz! You may need to scrape down the sides once to ensure it mixes well.
  • Add chocolate to the batter and mix in by stiring.
  • Transfer to a baking dish or cake pan lined with brown baking paper (cooking times will vary for both) and bake for 25-35 minutes (if shallow dish will be shorter cooking time, deeper pan will be longer) check with a toothpick, should look very slightly sticky.


If want to ice it, try this, use a stick whizz.

2 tbsp pure maple or honey
pinch of salt
1 tbsp coconut oil
